hahahah i have first comment. Hey Z just checking showing love. Man have you guys seen what you have to do just to put 2.0 on the iphone with the dev team program? Man i just said forget and im waiting on Zi for the next update. Besides he's probably waiting on installers 4.0 to come out.

I did the test 2 times using my home WiFi and my phone crashed on the second test. I had to hold down the home and power buttons to reboot the phone. Im on 1.1.4 right now. I have a question... When u upgrade to 2.0 is ur Installer app REPLACED by the AppStore or u still have the installer.... meaning Installer + AppStore. Also... what's the diffrence between the two? Someone pls clarify. Thank you.

It crashed my 1.1.4 on second try, I guess this is an exploit you can use? I hear MxTube is being ported now and will be done in a week or so. This app is why I used Ziphone on my 1.1.4 iPod touch. I will wait for new Ziphone before I upgrade to 2.0/2.1 or whatever they're up to. I trust Zibri, don't know how stable winpwn is, but I never had any problems with Ziphone. You do good work Zibri.

What really is 3G? Nothing more then a ploy for a stock margin increase a made up number for apple to be the number 1 device in the world for the second time?

Zibri i like ur work infact I've used ur program before but to all those people out there saying that the dev team makes useless and hard to use programs, don't, cause there not that hard to use & their definatly not useless. Thanks to them I'm running 2.0 with all apps including cydia on my 2G iPhone.

ReplyDeleteThe crash happens randomly.
Some people make it crash with a few "tests", some other with many.
It happens on my 2.0 ipod (no jailbreak/ziphone/pwn/whatever) and my 1.1.4 iPhone.
It's a memory corruption.
You have to click on WIFI test on the test page.

the pwnage is full of errors and it can never be restored to 2.0 ..... it took me the hole day trying to find out how to get back to 1.1.4 after almost losing hope that my iphone will ever work again......... So DONT do it.. wait for the ZIPHONE 4.0

ReplyDeletegood work zibiri. I tried the test on my pwuned 3G iPhone and it crushed the very first time. I restored my phone with an older version of software and I run the test again ...crushed . I restored with iTunes and repwuned... now is accepting all sim cards... It unloked my phone...great work man!!!

hey, every first version of software has bugs as you know. don't blame it. even 2.0 looks pretty, improved overall, it is not still enough. but I like it. crash is major issue on this one. not just visiting web site. apps crash randomly. but they will fix it.

Zibri, you are without a doubt a true pioneer. Without minds like yours we would still be using rotary dial phones, we would still be cooking on wood stoves only. See it's just like the iphone it's a phone but your taking a wood using phone and making a gas burning phone. Same concept. ReplyDeleteTried and it and it crashed the 2nd Time - had to reboot. My Iphone is PWNED using 2.0.1 - followed the lengthy instructions but all works great. More and more apps being ported over daily - I am not a dev team fan - wanted to wait for you but I have to have it now!!!!! Oh! the iPhone App Store apps Hacked: No DRM!! :)

ReplyDeleteI think you use some of this things such as the KEY for your site traffic why else would you post it and not do anything about it for so long.
Or maybe you where hopping someone works on it and you see how they go about it then you improve on it in the name of open source.

Nice Job Zibri, I've tried posting before with no success. I have a qustion. I have an original I-phone and recently added installer and a few other downloads. Somewhere I lost the ability to change my picture when the phone first comes on. I want to change it but cannot figure out how to do anything. Advise please.

ReplyDeleteHey Z, nice website and helpful info. However, I recently tried to upgrade to 2.0 from 1.1.4. Phone crashed and went into restore. Now my iphone seems to be stuck in recivery mode. Dowloadeed firmware to restore back to 1.1.4 but doesn't seems to work.

Zi I'm waiting for your latest version. I can't stand the waiting but consider your app the ONLY one worthwhile and the ONLY ONE that I trust 100%.
Please release this soon, but of course do your usual great work of checking it and not releasing it until it is 100% ready.

We did all upgrades from your site from 1.0 until 1.1.4 version softwares and than, we stopped, because we were affraid of downloading 2.0/2.1 versions and have damaged our little toy.
In few days, we will have iPhone officially distributed in Brazil and so we have opportunity to buy 3G. What do you recommend us to do:
1. Do you thing it's safe to download 2.0/2.1 SW to our old and good iPhone? Is it possible to do jailbreaking for 2.0/2.1 versions?
2. Or it is better to stay downgraded as 1.1.4 and have no headaches???
3. Do you recommend us to buy this 3G brand new equipment?
